Hooksett School District Beliefs about Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment
We believe…
- Every student has the potential to achieve academic success.
- All students can strive toward the same common objectives and grade-level expectations.
- Student learning experiences need to be authentic, engaging, and accessible for all learners.
- A curriculum that is rigorous and well-planned is essential.
- Common grade-level expectations for student learning must be clearly stated and communicated to students and families.
- Assessing student progress should include a variety of methods and serve as a tool in shaping educational experiences while guiding students to take ownership of their progress.
We are committed to working collaboratively to achieve this shared educational vision
